THIS LOCATION IS A PRIVATE RESIDENCE, DO NOT DISTURB OCCUPANTS!
Biff Tannen's 1955 Residence. Marty tracks him down via the phonebook to an adress that must be wrong, but after some Brutal screaming from an old woman inside, there he is! And despite the lack of lawn ornaments and chain link, the home is still exactly as Biff might remember it. Only instead of the fictional Hill Valley, this home is on the exact same street that served for George and Lorraine's houses in part 1, Bushnell avenue in South Pasadena. (So Make sure to view all three locations pages before visiting!)

Enjoy our photos below and don't be shy about writing us to share your stories and photos about any of the BTTF locations. We'll probably add them to the site somewhere!

Before I forget.. Speaking of Biff Tannen, Tom Wilson, the actor who played him (and his relatives!) in the Back to the Future Trilogy, is actually selling some of his paintings (including a great poster/print of Griff's Pit Bull hoverboard from part II) online. Scroll to the bottom for the link. It's a great site and a lot of the paintings are amazing. My wife met him at the Arclight screening of BTTF and He's actually a really friendly guy. So go support him and get some of that great art!

This is the location used for Biff's (and his Grandmother's) house. Compare it to the screenshot below from Back to the Future part II and you will see that nothing much has changed... aside from the missing lawn decorations.

Attention to detail: Did the movie crew raise the sidewalk, or did the homeowners change it years later? I prefer to think the Movie crew raised it and covered the real sidewalk with grass, as the concrete at the real location looks plenty aged.

The home as Marty viewed it from across the street.

Just up the street, Biff takes these kids' ball and throws it up to that second story balcony. The house in the background is actually Lorraine's house from Part 1!

Here's the view from Biff's house (left) to the house with the "ball balcony" (right)
2006 UPDATE: THE "BALL BALCONY HOUSE" is also the Frat house from the movie "OLD SCHOOL!" With Will Farrel and Luke Wilson!! Come check it out. Make sure to be quiet and respectful...

In the commentary they claim not to have filmed the Garage at this actual location, but rather on a soundstage. However, they are frequently wrong and we have not been able to ascertain the truth one way or the other. There is no longer a Garage standing where it would have stood at the time of filming, Because there is a new Garage built in line with the driveway. Unless someone from the films contacts us to correct our logic.. This may remain a mystery forever...
